Justice

Furthermore, while my mind is filled with thoughts of my mother, I ponder something important

Why do good people suffer?

Why do those who harm good people rejoice now?

Then my mother's justice came to mind

The good always suffer, until they recieve their reward, and then they rejoice

Those who harm the good always rejoice, until Ma'at recompenses them, and then they mourn

The work is not complete now, and it may never be

Yet, that does not free us from doing the work

I incline my mind toward Sekhmet-Mut, and I work too

The work is never complete

Line upon line, foundation upon foundation

The work we do now, will be the cornerstone for future generations

Poem to Sekhmet-Mut

My heart is inclined toward Sekhmet-Mut
Here I sit, meditating on my mother
Meditating on her love
Meditating on her kindness
May my mind ever be inclined toward you, mother
When I meditate on you my mind becomes still
My mind becomes serene
It becomes peaceful
You fill all of me with your peace and wisdom
May I never cease to incline my mind toward you, mother
Great Sekhmet-Mut, fierce in justice, motherly in compassion
Never let my mind turn from thoughts of you
Fill me with your love

Prayer to Sekhmet

Great Sekhmet, Red Lady, mighty in retribution, hail to thee.

Sekhmet, mighty protector, great defender, and patron of medicine, I ask you to guard me from evil.

There is no greater defender, O Sekhmet, no stronger opponent against injustice and evil.

Evil flees before you, Lady Sekhmet, you whom are likened to a great lioness in spirit.

Sekhmet most noble, Sekhmet most fierce, Sekhmet most terrible, and Sekhmet most powerful.

Dua Sekhmet!

Prayer to Heru-sa-Aset

Hail Heru-sa-Aset, mighty son of Aset, son and heir of Wesir, all Kemet hails thee, O great king.

Glory of Wesir, beloved of Aset, adored by the people of Kemet, I ask thee to aid me in my time of trouble.

Disarm my enemies, and protect me from evil with your mighty hand, O great king.

Hail to thee Horus, Lord of the Two Lands, king of kings, and mighty in guarding your beloved.

You have known me since my childhood, O gracious king, and my soul has longed for thee.

Praise to your great kingly ka, O Heru, and may you give strength to our Nisut, just as you have given strength to every ruler of Kemet, and will continue to do so throughout all the ages.

Hail to thee Heru-sa-Aset, Lord of the Two Lands, king of kings, and mighty in guarding your beloved.

Dua Heru-sa-Aset!
